Audition Details:

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No prior experience is required—just a passion for storytelling and a willingness to bring this historic play to life.

Character Information:

The Diary of Anne Frank follows Anne and her family as they go into hiding during World War II. The cast includes a mix of emotional, dramatic, and heartfelt roles, such as:

  • Anne Frank – A bright, hopeful, and expressive young girl who documents her time in hiding.
  • Otto Frank – Anne’s father, a strong and compassionate leader of the group.
  • Edith Frank – Anne’s mother, loving but often struggling with the family’s circumstances.
  • Margot Frank – Anne’s older sister, quiet, intelligent, and responsible.
  • Peter Van Daan – A shy and thoughtful boy who forms a bond with Anne.
  • Mr. & Mrs. Van Daan – A married couple also in hiding; Mr. Van Daan is opinionated, and Mrs. Van Daan has a flair for the dramatic.
  • Mr. Dussel – A dentist who joins the group later, meticulous and sometimes difficult.
  • Miep Gies & Mr. Kraler – Friends who help hide the families, bringing them supplies and hope.
