Spotlight Acting School invites young performers aged 4-9 to audition for “Disney’s Aladdin KIDS,” a magical musical adventure filled with exciting characters and catchy songs. Directed by Daesha Miller with musical direction by Letha Hembree, this production will bring the enchanting world of Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and more to life on stage. It’s a perfect opportunity for young actors to showcase their talents, learn about theater, and experience the joy of performing in a supportive environment.

Audition Details:

  • Date: May 25, 11:30 AM
  • Location: The Spotlight Playhouse – 214 Richmond Rd, Berea, KY
  • Age Group: 4-9
  • Director: Daesha Miller
  • Music Director: Letha Hembree
  • Performance Dates: September 13-15 and 20-22
  • Rehearsal Schedule: Saturdays (Specific times to be announced)
  • Tuition: $85 per month before discounts and financial assistance
  • Financial Assistance: Available; meet with Miss Letha at the audition; no student turned away due to lack of funds 
  • Inclusive: Spotlight Acting School is proud to include students with challenging and special needs in its productions, as long as it does not detract from the overall experience of the cast as a whole. Our community is very accepting, welcoming, and supportive.
  • Casting Policy: Every child who auditions is cast in the production
  • Additional Productions: Added as needed to accommodate all students
  • Audition Requirements: For musicals, a song is required for consideration for a leading role; any song will do, even “Happy Birthday”. Just show up and follow directions – no pressure!
