Carol Burnett is known as one of the most brilliant comedians of all times, and her Carol Burnett Show ran for 11 years, garnering 25 prime-time Emmy awards and was ranked number 16 on TV Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time and was listed as one of Time magazine’s 100 Best TV Shows of All Time. The show originally ran on CBS from September 11, 1967, to March 29, 1978, for 279 episodes. Not a word in these scripts has been changed.
A special presentation of Kids Say the Darndest Things will also be included with each performance.

The Children’s Literature Association named this “the best American children’s book of the past two hundred years,” and Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E.B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation.
The Spotlight Players present this spectacular show as part of the 2017/2018 Theatre for Young Audiences series. As part of the series, the show will be traveled to local elementary schools after performing at the Playhouse. Adults and children alike will enjoy this tale of friendship, love, and loss.

Spend an evening of suspense as the teenage troupe of Spotlight Acting School shares the Headless Horseman and Ghost Hunt.
The Headless Horseman is a new twist on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow while Ghost Hunt is based on a Civil War legend. Both are great shows and each last a little over an hour for a full evening of fun.

It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and all Ellie and her new husband, Jackson, want is to celebrate their first holiday season at home together. But their holiday peace and quiet quickly turns into holiday chaos when they are summoned to the security office at the local mall. Seems Ellie’s backwoods relatives were planning to surprise her with a visit, but first stopped at the store to pick up some paper goods. That’s when the trouble began. What they thought was a big-box store turned out to be a shopping mall full of frenzied Black Friday shoppers, and, of course, the hillbilly family ended up causing all sorts of trouble.

Audition Details: Participants will be expected to cold read, sing a solo and learn a dance routine.
The end of another season is here, but instead of being sad it is gone, we are happy for having the experience. Join us as we celebrate our many successes and gather with our friends to look forward to the next exciting season.
