Madagascar A Musical Adventure JR. – Auditions – Ages 4-11

Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto your stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.  Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York’s Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends – Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo – have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape – with the help of some prodigious penguins – to explore the world.

You Can’t Beat the House – Auditions – Ages 11-18

2018 Cast List

“I’ve had trouble breaking into a house before but this is the first time I’ve had problems breaking OUT again!” So moans Merle to his partner, Howie. These two minor-league burglars have really met their match this time, it seems. They decided on a house only to find, after managing to get into the place, that it’s up for sale and before they can leave, Conrad and Glenda, prospective buyers, show up. Merle figures they have two choices – either pretend to be real estate agents or beat it, making the buyers suspect them and call in the police. Merle begins to show the house while Howie ducks out to get the car. Now the REAL real estate agent shows up and Merle has to juggle the couple and the agent. Finally, as Merle gets rid of the her and is about to show the door to Conrad and Glenda, Howie arrives with the news that their car has been towed away. Suddenly a cop shows up, saying the police are looking for two suspicious characters in the neighborhood. Next in the parade of oddball characters is Conrad’s secretary, then Glenda’s mother, then her medium, Madame Zenobia. Oh, yeah! The place, it turns out, is haunted! This screwball comedy is one wisecrack after another and proves once again that “You Can’t Beat the House.”

Twas the night before Christmas / Black and Blue Friday

Presented by The Spotlight Players.

“‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.” But wait! A mouse is stirring – because Santa missed his house last year. Before you can say “Merry Christmas!”, we’re off on the wild adventures of a mouse, an elf, and a spunky little girl who just won’t take no for an answer. Don’t miss this joyful tribute to the holiday season!

“Such a playful spirit romps through ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, you might think the show itself was a product of Santa’s workshop.” – The Washington Post

Plus,

It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and all Ellie and her new husband, Jackson, want is to celebrate their first holiday season at home together.  But their holiday peace and quiet quickly turns into holiday chaos when they are summoned to the security office at the local mall.  Seems Ellie’s backwoods relatives were planning to surprise her with a visit, but first stopped at the store to pick up some paper goods.  That’s when the trouble began.  What they thought was a big-box store turned out to be a shopping mall full of frenzied Black Friday shoppers, and, of course, the hillbilly family ended up causing all sorts of trouble.
