Spotlight Film School classes begin August 25th, 2018

F101 Basic Film Acting (Ages 7 – Adult)
Saturdays 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Students will get experience both on-camera and in a studio atmosphere. A project-based class where the energy of the students will set the pace for the results. Each class will have a short lecture and hands-on learning section.

F110 Camera Basics (Ages 11 – Adult)
Saturdays 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Students will learn how cameras operate. We will explore video terminology and definitions. This class will involve hands-on activities and scenarios where students will learn to replicate and create videos like those seen today.

F201 Intermediate Film Acting – Commercials and Modeling – Ages 11-Adult (Prerequisite F101- Basic Film Acting)
Saturdays 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Using the skills learned in Basic Film Acting, students will be challenged to put what they have learned to the test and how to make it in the commercial and modeling industry on camera.

F210 – Cinematography – Ages 11-Adult (Prerequisite F110 – Camera Basics)
Saturdays 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Diving further into camera operation and use this class shows the fine art of setting up a complete scene and shooting it with one or multiple cameras. Lighting, continuity, angle, and tricks of the trade are all part of this challenging and fun course.
